Take our Watercress Sauce – beautiful with a roasted salmon fillet. Most turn khaki when cooked. Not ours, which stays a wonderful vibrant green. We blend some of the watercress to release the colour, but keep the rest back until the end so it gets the least cooking it can. This extra care gives a really smooth, pale green peppery sauce that looks as good as it tastes.

There are currently three companies in the Group. As well as New Ivory, down in Dudley our sister company, Quality Kernels, processes nuts, seeds and dried fruit. And over in Harrogate, there’s Food Design, a producer of sweet inclusions used throughout the food industry.
